Dozens of New Features and Fixes Added 

Montebello, CA – (October 26, 2010): TASCAM has updated the X-48 to version 1.20. The new version has been 18 months in the making and is a major update to the stand-alone hard disk workstation. Dozens of new features have been added, including the ability to record past midnight in SMPTE sync, file maintenance, user interface improvements and much more. Several software inconsistencies were also addressed.

The X-48 is a 48-track digital workstation that has proven popular for live event recording. The recorder can be used stand-alone, or a mouse, keyboard and monitor can be added for monitor mixing and editing features. The X-48 is designed for easy file compatibility with nearly any digital workstation, such as Pro Tools®. A variety of audio and synchronization options are available.

X-48 software version 1.20 is available as a free download from the TASCAM website. A complete list of new features is posted in the release notes.
