TASCAM has announced a firmware update for their industry-leading DR-05 Digital Handheld Recorder which now includes support for multiple languages. With version 2.31, users will be able to set the display to any one of a number of languages including English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Russian, Chinese and Japanese. 

In addition, the interface display has been redesigned to deliver enhanced readability through inclusion of a more defined typeface font and other visual updates.
