TASCAM has announced an update to their popular DA-6400 Control App for iPAD which brings additional convenience to the recording professional.

In addition to a number of performance optimizations and support for iOS 10, DA-6400 users are now able to make use of a wired LAN connection between an iPad and the DA-6400. This hardwired connection can be achieved by using the Apple Lightning to USB 3 Camera Adapter and a USB Ethernet Adapter. This powerful new feature enables the operator to choose between the freedom of a wireless conncection and the security of a wired link, as best suits his or her workflow.
