TEAC APPOINTS INDUSTRY VETERAN JOHN CASEY TO THE POSITION OF SALES DIRECTOR FOR CONSUMER ELECTRONICS

Montebello, CA.— June 3, 2009 — TEAC America, Inc., manufacturer of consumer electronics, OEM transports, desktop publishing hardware and data storage devices, has announced the appointment of John Casey to the position of Sales Director, Consumer Electronics Division.

“With over 21 years of experience and a track record of success, we are extremely pleased to have John on board,” commented Koichiro Nakamura, President, TEAC America, Inc.

Most recently Mr. Casey was the General Manager of National Accounts for Casio America, Inc. Other titles held at Casio included Divisional Director and National Account Sales Manager. Over the last 6 years, Mr. Casey was instrumental in helping to lead Casio Electronics on a national level to become a widely distributed and highly recognized brand. John Casey began his career with Texas Instruments in 1987 as a Senior Account Manager and was part of the management team that led that organization into a position of industry leadership. Mr. Casey will report to Les Luzar, Senior Vice President of Sales for TEAC America, Inc.
