Montebello, Ca - February 2017... TASCAM has announced firmware updates for their Wi-Fi equipped line of Digital Handheld Recorders, as well as an update to the Mobile App that will provide greater flexibility in both connectivity and file management. By taking advantage of these updates, TASCAM owners will be able to choose between a local Wi-Fi connection (a feature of the DR-22WL and DR-44WL from launch) as well as a newly-added capability to connect to existing Wi-Fi networks. This more flexible connection option makes it easier than ever to transfer and share files from the Digital Recorder. When paired with the newly update Mobile App, users are now able to rename and delete files remotely as well as share to any one of a number of destinations including dropbox, OneDrive, email, local storage and more.
