A New CD Recorder for the Studio Recording and Installation Markets

Las Vegas, NV • NAB 2004 Booth #N2418 (April 19, 2004): TASCAM has enhanced their most-popular CD Recorder. The new CD-RW750 retains the acclaimed features of the CD-RW700 like great-sounding 24-bit digital converters, CD-R and CD-RW support, S/PDIF digital I/O and a reliable, rack-mounted design - as well as a breakthrough low price. It even improves on the successful CD-RW700 by adding CD TEXT, A-B Repeat and Single Playback features.

"TASCAM has been the world's best-selling manufacturer of CD Recorders for years," says Jim Mack, Director of TASCAM. "The CD-RW750 shows that we continue to listen to our customers and enhance our product line to add the features that working professionals demand. Its solid, reliable construction, professional features and low price make it a worthy successor to the popular CD-RW700."

The CD-RW750 is a budget-minded rack-mountable CD recorder, with unbalanced I/O and S/PDIF digital I/O in optical and coax formats. It has a RAM buffer for skip-free playback, 24-bit A/D and D/A converters and a digital fade in and fade out from 3 to 30 seconds. Its monitor section allows it to be used as a stand-alone A/D converter or sample rate converter without the need to place a blank disc in the tray.
