03-28-2007
Dozens of Top Name DJs give "Turntable Magic" the Big Thumbs Up

Montebello, CA (January 20, 2004): The new TASCAM TT-M1 CD Scratch Controller was a knockout success at the NAMM show in Anaheim, CA. Dozens of the most talented and celebrated DJs in the business stopped by to check out the TT-M1 and were astonished that CD scratching can now sound and feel like vinyl.

"These guys have spent their professional lives perfecting turntable technique, and the TT-M1 is the first product that easily translates those moves into a great-sounding CD scratch without the need of a computer or special vinyl," says DJ Davey Dave, TASCAM DJ Product Specialist. "I'm glad to see all of the DJs I admire get as excited about the TT-M1 as I am."

A few of the legendary DJs that couldn't stop raving about the new TT-M1 are:
  • Mixmaster Mike (Beastie Boys)
  • Melo-D (Beat Junkies)
  • Babu (Beat Junkies)
  • Rhettmatic (Beat Junkies)
  • J-Rocc (Beat Junkies)
  • Z-Trip

  • Numark (Jurassic 5)
  • Klever (The Allies)
  • DJ Wiz
  • DJ Battlecat
  • Q (UBERZONE)

The TT-M1 "Turntable Magic" retrofits to almost any existing turntable without replacing the tonearm and stylus, so you can still use the turntable to play back vinyl. It requires no special hookup, no computer and no specially-coded vinyl records to operate. It controls the latest TASCAM DJ CD Players, the CD-X1500 and CD-X1700. Both new CD players created a lot of excitement and interest with their knockout features, price and great new look.
