New Windows Driver Includes Loopback, ASIO/WDM mixing and More

Booth 2282, Anaheim, CA (Jan 21, 2016): TASCAM has enhanced the Windows driver for the US-2x2 and US-4x4 to create the TASCAM Software Mixer. This free upgrade adds enhanced features to the interfaces without affecting incredible performance. The software includes mixing features that extend their usefulness beyond music production, including multimedia and telecommunication applications.  

TASAM Software Mixer appears as a new driver in your Windows software. Both ASIO and WDM can be used simultaneously, allowing system sounds to pass through during ASIO operation. The two can also be routed together, for example sending the output of ASIO software into a WDM application.  Computer playback can be mixed with the inputs and re-recorded, for internet karaoke or to record your own voice over YouTube or video game audio.

The TASCAM Mixing Driver is available now as a free download for US-2x2 and US-4x4 users.
