Montebello, CA — February 8, 2012 — TEAC America, Inc, a world leader in recording technology for over five decades, announced today the promotion of Tim Crable to the position of Director of Sales Consumer/Esoteric. He immediately assumes responsibility for TEAC Consumer Electronics, Esoteric and M2Tech sales operation throughout the U.S. and will report directly to Paul Jenkins, Senior Vice President for TEAC America.

Crable joined TEAC America, back in 1997 as Director of Technical Services. Prior to working at TEAC America, Crable spent nine years with JBL Professional, a manufacturer of loudspeakers and sound reinforcement systems. He began his career at Raytheon Data Systems as a Field service technician and worked his way up to Director of Services working on word processing systems, telephone systems and computer networks and peripherals.
