Real-time pitch correction with Antares Auto-Tune Evo
Equipped with Antares' Auto-Tune Evo vocal processing, the TA-1VP brings the world-famous vocal pitch correction effect to your stage equipment rack. And in addition to industry-leading pitch correction technology, the TA-1VP also features the TEC Awards-winning microphone modeler, allowing you to emulate the sound of some of the most legendary microphones ever created. And onboard tube modeling allows you to add the harmonic richness and warmth you’d expect from a vintage tube mic preamp.
Simple interface and control set
The TA-1VP makes it easy to access your most-needed parameters at the touch of a button. Processing is laid out in simple blocks for mic modeling, Auto-Tune, compressor/gate, de-esser, and output EQ. Each block has dedicated buttons and metering to access parameters and manage signal processing. With all of your most-needed functions right at your fingertips, you can dial in a super vocal sound fast even in high-pressure live performance conditions.
Additional Features
Comprehensive I/O, MIDI Control, and more
In addition to the front-panel XLR microphone input, the TA-1VP is equipped with a line-level input for use with an external microphone preamplifier. Analog and digital outputs are available to suit your connectivity needs, and MIDI I/O allows you to automate settings from Ableton Live or other live sequencing software. And the footswitch input allows you to toggle up to eight functions simultaneously with hands-free convenience.
Premium microphone preamplifier and vocal processing
The TA-1VP's microphone preamplifier circuit is derived from TASCAM’s DM-4800/3200 professional digital mixing console. Delivering rich, full-range sound with excellent transient detail, the TA-1VP is an outstanding mic preamp solution for stellar live vocals. In adition, the TA-1VP is equipped with a bypass filter, compressor/gate, de-esser, and output equalizer to shape album-quality vocal tone in any venue.

FAQs
Many hip hop, dance, R&B and other artists “abuse” the AutoTune processor to get a glitchy vocal effect. Here’s how to set the TA-1VP to get this effect:
1. Start from a preset like Male Voice or Female Voice.
2. Switch AutoTune correction ON
3. Press the SCALE button.
4. Use the CURSOR LEFT/RIGHT buttons to select notes, and switch them off using the Data Knob. Try switching off all but a pentatonic scale, such as C - D# - F - G - A#
5. Press the next button down in the AutoTune section, SPEED. Turn the speed all the way to 0 (fastest).
