8-Channel Unbalanced to Balanced Line Amplifier
The LA-80MKII is an unbalanced to balanced line converter that is equipped with eight channels of unbalanced input to balanced output. It comes equipped with an indicator that displays the presence of signals and a semi-fixed trim that matches levels between connected devices.

Balanced output produced through an unbalanced input signal
The LA-80MKII comes equipped with an Audio Distributed Amplifier (ADA) function, and is capable of distributing unbalanced input signals and output balanced signals. It comes in a standard TASCAM single-rackspace mount size having the same dimensions as a TASCAM recorder single-rackspace mount size. As a result, a flat layout can be achieved during rack-mounting.
The LA-80mkII is an eight-channel unbalanced to balanced line amplifier, where the LA-81mkII converts eight channels of balanced to unbalanced audio. The LA-40mkIII has four channels of unbalanced to balanced and another four channels of balanced to unbalanced out.
