I'm hearing pops, clicks, and noise in the audio. How do I correct
this?
This usually happens because the computer is unable to process the audio
data fast enough. First, if you are running multiple applications, try
quitting all unneccessary applications. If
this doesn't solve the problem and you are using a Windows
computer, launch the US-122L / US-144 control panel and try adusting
the Audio Performance to a higher latency setting. Most digital audio
workstation applications permit the adjustment of their audio buffer settings.
Using more conservative settings (larger buffer sizes) in your audio application
may help.
Even though I have selected a sample rate in my audio application, the control
panel says my US-144 is running at a different sample rate. How can I
make my US-144 run at the desired sample rate?
If a valid signal is plugged into the US-144's digital input, and the Sample
Clock Source Menu has been set to "Automatic", the US-144 will always run at
the sample rate received at its digital input. To run at the desired sample
rate, there are three options.
1) Change the sample rate of the device that is sending the digital signal.
2) Set the Sample Clock Source Menu to "Internal". This will cause
the digital input to become unavailable.
3) Unplug the cable connected to the digital input.
